AUDI IS to showcase new front lighting technology that uses super-powerful laser diodes just a few thousandths of a millimetre in diameter. But at the same time, the tiny diodes are claimed to be able to light the road ahead for an incredible 500 metres. We have a full set of photos of the new 2012 Volvo V40 – ahead of a debut at Geneva 2012 – thanks to yet another leak. We’ve got used to new cars leaking out a bit at a time on the Interwebs, but photos of the new 2012 Volvo V40 have been leaking like a sieve for weeks, despite the official debut not being until Geneva in a week or so. First we had what looked to be a scan from a brochure of the new V40, followed closely by a couple of official exterior photos of the V40, just to be sure.
